The short answer
Creek Walk is an open-air evening food street in the Zulfiqar and Al-Murtaza commercial area of DHA Phase 8, Karachi, on Zulfiqar Commercial Street 2 off Khayaban-e-Iqbal, first covered as new in December 2024. Entry and parking are free, and Google Maps listed it in October 2026 as open 6 pm to 1 am Monday to Thursday and 6 pm to 2:30 am Friday to Sunday. Creek Walk is a different place from Creek Park, the creekside garden listed under Khalid Shaheed Park.
Where is Creek Walk in DHA Phase 8?
Creek Walk is an open-air evening food street in the Zulfiqar and Al-Murtaza commercial area of DHA Phase 8, Karachi, on Zulfiqar Commercial Street 2 off Khayaban-e-Iqbal. Google Maps lists it at 32 D, Zone A, and a second listing called Creek Walk Food Street sits about 70 m away at 41-C, Zulfiqar Commercial Street 5, so the two pins probably mark the same site.
Despite the name, Creek Walk is a different place from Creek Park, the creekside garden with a walking track that Google Maps lists under Khalid Shaheed Park, and from Creek Drive, a separate food court on Zulfiqar Street 1.
Brandsynario and Hope Karachi describe Creek Walk as being by the sea, but the Google Maps pins put it inland in the Zulfiqar commercial area, about 4 km north of Do Darya in a straight line. Explore Pakistan’s guide of October 2026 describes a pedestrian street and does not mention any creek or sea frontage, so treat Creek Walk as an inland food street until someone confirms a water view on site.
The earliest dated coverage of Creek Walk is The Nation of 18 December 2024, which called it a new open space with walkways, fountains and evening lighting, developed by DHA Karachi. No DHA page about Creek Walk was found, and no source gives an exact opening date.
How to get to Creek Walk from Clifton and the DHA Phase 8 seafront
From Teen Talwar in Clifton, Creek Walk is about 8 km away, or 10 to 15 minutes outside rush hour, according to Explore Pakistan (October 2026). One road route runs along Gizri Road and over the Gizri Flyover, then along Khayaban-e-Hafiz and Khayaban-e-Shaheen into the Zulfiqar commercial area, about 7.8 km. Waterfront Karachi worked out this and the page’s other road distances with OpenStreetMap (OSRM) routing in October 2026, free-flow, with no traffic.
From the DHA Phase 8 seafront, Creek Walk is about 5.6 km by road from HMR Waterfront, by Khayaban-e-Khalid and Abdul Sattar Edhi Avenue, and about 6.2 km by road from Emaar Oceanfront. Evening traffic will add time on both routes.
Brandsynario (January 2025) suggests a ride-hailing app at busy times because Creek Walk is popular. Search “Creek Walk DHA Phase 8” in Google Maps or the app.
Creek Walk timings
Creek Walk opens in the evening, but the published hours disagree, and Explore Pakistan (October 2026) notes that each stall sets its own hours.
| Source | Date | Hours given |
|---|---|---|
| Google Maps listing, Creek Walk – DHA Phase 8 | Read 29 October 2026 | Monday to Thursday 6 pm to 1 am; Friday to Sunday 6 pm to 2:30 am |
| Snapchat place page, Creek Walk Phase 8 | Read 31 October 2026 | Friday to Sunday 6 pm to 2:30 am; no weekday hours shown |
| Explore Pakistan guide, quoting two listings | 6 October 2026 | 5 pm to 3 am daily in one listing; 6 pm to 1 am Monday to Thursday in the other |
| Explore Pakistan’s own advice | 6 October 2026 | Roughly 7 pm to midnight as the safe window |
| Tacocat stall, Instagram | 18 July 2025 | 5 pm to 1:30 am (that stall only) |
Explore Pakistan suggests arriving at Creek Walk about an hour after sunset, 7 pm to 8:30 pm most of the year, and finds weekdays calmer than weekend nights. It rates November to February the most pleasant months and says few people come during monsoon downpours.
Creek Walk entry fee and parking
Entry to Creek Walk is free. The venue’s own Facebook page says “Free entry, free parking”, and Explore Pakistan (October 2026) found no ticket in any coverage, so visitors pay only at the stalls.
Explore Pakistan says Creek Walk has no dedicated car park and visitors park on the surrounding commercial streets of the Zulfiqar area, which is usually easy on weekday evenings. On Friday to Sunday nights those streets fill early, and no source dated September or October 2026 reports a parking charge.
Creek Walk food stalls
Creek Walk is a row of kiosks, carts and food trucks with open seating, and vendors change often, so each stall below carries the write-up that named it. A Brandsynario Facebook post put the count at more than 50 food stalls.
- Tacocat, Sync coffee, 2 Guys 1 Grill and Hot Wheels Pizza (Hope Karachi, undated)
- Magic Hotpot and a Turkish coffee stall (Brandsynario, January 2025)
- Kiosks for Turkish coffee, lattes and Chinese hotpot (The Nation, December 2024)
- Pani puri, bun kebabs, make-your-own ramen counters, boba drinks and a coffee shop (Dawn, January 2026)
- Gato Cafe, pizza and burger food trucks (Explore Pakistan, October 2026)
Google Maps reviewers of Creek Walk most often mention the stalls, live music, waffles, dumplings and seating (read 29 October 2026). Some stalls also deliver through foodpanda.
What does food at Creek Walk cost?
No current price list for Creek Walk exists, because each stall sets its own prices, according to Explore Pakistan (October 2026). A DHA Phase 8 directory site gives Rs 1,000 to 2,000 per person, but the page is undated and does not say where the figure comes from.
One YouTube vlogger titled a Creek Walk video “Karachi’s Most Expensive Food Street” about a year before October 2026. Explore Pakistan advises carrying cash, because smaller carts may not take cards.
Is Creek Walk good for families?
Dawn (January 2026), The Nation (December 2024) and Brandsynario (January 2025) all describe Creek Walk as a family outing. Dawn reported mascots entertaining children, a lit stage and stalls selling toys, jewellery and handicrafts, and The Nation reported security and cleaning staff on site.
Whether Creek Walk admits only families is unclear. Dawn photographed a “For Family Only” sign at a new DHA food street in January 2026 without naming the street, an undated Instagram post says there is no entry without family at Creek Walk, and Explore Pakistan (October 2026) found no published rule. Groups of friends should check at the gate.
Google Maps marks a wheelchair-accessible entrance at Creek Walk. No source mentions restrooms, ATMs or play equipment, and Brandsynario advises arriving early at weekends to find seating.
Creek Walk vs Creek Park vs Creek Drive
Three DHA Phase 8 places share the word “creek”, and Google results for “creek walk” mix them up. Creek Walk is the food street, Creek Park is the garden and Creek Drive is a second food court nearby.
| Place | What it is | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Creek Walk | Evening food street with stalls, seating and live music | Zulfiqar Commercial Street 2, off Khayaban-e-Iqbal (Google Maps, October 2026) |
| Creek Park (Creek Garden) | Creekside garden with walking paths, listed under Khalid Shaheed Park | About 650 m from Creek Vistas, about 2.2 km by road from Creek Walk |
| Creek Drive | Separate food court, open until 2 am (Google Maps, October 2026) | 27 Zulfiqar Street 1, about 1.3 km east of Creek Walk |
Creek Park is the place with the jogging and walking track. In 2022 Zameen gave its hours as 6 am to 9 am and 3 pm to 11 pm with entry at PKR 20 for adults, figures that may have changed since. Google Maps listed Creek Garden as closing at 10 pm in October 2026.
